A little about the two people behind Marea.
HI, WE ' RE KARLA + SEBASTIAN
Two persperctives, one tide.
Before we photograph your story, we'd love to share
a little of ours.
We come from different places. Karla was born in Peru and grew up in Argentina. Sebastian is from Mexico. Today, we call Costa Rica home, where we're building Marea and a life together.
Beyond the sessions you see here, photography takes us in different directions too. Karla could spend hours playing with poses, styling, and creating images that look straight out of a magazine. Sebastian is happiest wandering down a trail with his camera, hoping to spot an animal along the way. Two very different ways to have fun with a camera – and honestly, we love that.
When we photograph together, those different ways of seeing find their place in Marea – both of us behind the camera, every step of the way.
